We are happy to extend a formal hold for you, for a limited time, to remove the item from the website. Please contact us for more information.

I Like a Piece of Jewelry on Your Site, But Would You Make a Small Change For Me?

Many of our pieces are made to order, which makes us able to customize our standard items to fit your personal preferences. For example, we can modify the finish, the precious metal, and the gems that we set. Please note that sterling silver pieces cannot be modified. Can You Help Me Design a Custom Piece of Jewelry?

How Can I Find an Item that is Not in Your Inventory?

Our inventory is constantly being updated and we may have additional inventory of exotic origin jewelry not listed on our website. Please contact us so we can help you find an item that is perfect for you.

Can You Send Me Additional Images of an Item?

Do You Offer Alternative Metal Options Such As Rose Gold?

Yes. Expressions Jewelry is proud to offer platinum, 18K white gold, 14k rose gold, and 18k yellow gold as a standard option for most styles. We also offer 14k white gold, 14k yellow gold, meteorite, and tungsten for a select number of styles. Custom metal choices, such as black rhodium, and 18k white gold with no rhodium are all options for many of our ring styles. For more information about these options, please contact us.

Do You Offer Alternative Gemstones Such As Tourmaline, Aquamarine, Etc.?

We offer a wide variety of gemstones, including aquamarines, morganites, amethysts, moissanites, and more. If you do not see the gemstone you are interested in, please contact us for assistance.

Can I Buy a Setting Without Buying a Diamond?

Currently, we do not list settings online. Our settings are made-to-order with each one handcrafted for a center gem with unique characteristics to ensure the quality of the finished piece. For this reason, to find your perfect stand-alone settings or semi mounts, please contact us or visit our store for a free consultation.

Do You Offer Lab Grown Diamond Ring Settings?

For most styles, we match the type of accent diamonds with the type of selected center diamond. If you select a lab created center diamond, then the accent diamonds on your setting may also be lab created, as indicated in the product details. All wedding band stones are natural unless specified in their name or under the product details.

Do You Offer Lab Grown Diamonds?

Expressions Jewelry offers an extensive collection of stunning lab created diamonds, which have the same physical, optical, and chemical characteristics as our natural diamonds.

Are Lab Diamonds Real Diamonds?

Yes. Lab created diamonds have the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds, as well as the same fire, scintillation, and sparkle. They are real diamonds. Lab created diamonds are nearly impossible to differentiate from natural diamonds with the naked eye.

Does Sterling Silver Tarnish?

Sterling silver tarnishes when exposed to salty air, chlorine, sulfur, humidity, perspiration, cosmetics, household bleach and other strong chemicals. To prevent tarnish as much as possible, we recommend that you store your fine jewelry in a safe, dry place when engaging in the following activities:

  • Performing household and outdoor chores

  • Showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs, hot springs and the ocean

  • Using lotion, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics

  • Exercising at the gym or during contact sports

  • Preparing meals

How can I get an item repaired?

We repair items made/sold by Expressions Jewelry. You may bring your item(s) to the Expressions store, and our experienced jewelers will be happy provide a free consultation.

Can my necklace be lengthened or shortened?

Yes. We are able to alter the length of the majority of our necklaces and bracelets. To find out if your selected style can be resized and to learn about timing and pricing, please contact us at info@expressions.jewelry or call 804 520 4434 or ask one of our in-store Jeweler Professionals.

Can I replace a lost earring or cuff link?

Can My Rings Be Soldered Together?

Depending on the rings in your bridal set, many styles can be soldered together to create one piece. Please note that if you ever want to separate the soldered rings, we cannot guarantee that we can successfully unsolder them. How to remove scratches from gold and platinum?

Only polishing will remove scratches from gold and platinum. However, the patina of fine scratches that develops over time can add beauty to the jewelry and can reflect the journey a piece has taken. The polishing process removes metal and is only recommended to be carried out a limited numbers of times over the life of the piece.

Can I Expedite My Custom Order to Receive it Sooner Than the Date Given?

Due to global logistical challenges, we are currently unable to offer expedited production services. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we create your piece of jewelry. Please contact us at 804-520-4434 with any questions.

Can I Get an Item Personalized?

Personalization is available on certain creations. We offer engraving for our jewelry and watches, and embossing for leather goods. The product pages on the website indicates whether personalization is available for the item. Should you have any special requests, please Contact Us.

How Can I Check on the Status of My Repair?

Are Your Prices Flexible?

We offer excellent value by providing our socially conscious jewelry at the lowest possible price, generally lower than many traditional jewelry retailers offer for standard jewelry. As a result, we cannot offer additional discounts or negotiated prices.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

Expressions Jewelry accepts all major US debit/credit cards, and PayPal.

Do You Offer Financing or Layaway?

For our US customers shopping in-store, we offer Wells Fargo special 6-month no-interest financing with approved credit. We also offer a layaway option which allows customers to pay for their purchase with 20% down and monthly installments. Currently, we do not offer financing or layaway for online purchases. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Can I Buy from You If I Live Outside the United States?

Currently, we are only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within the United States and do not ship internationally.

Will I Be Charged Tax?

Please note that US sales tax requirements may be subject to change due to the recent Supreme Court ruling on sales tax.

We understand that diamond jewelry is often given for special surprise occasions such as an engagement. You can have your order shipped to a Expressions Jewelry store for pick up. Is Your Packaging Discreet? What Does the Box Look Like?

Your order will arrive in unmarked packaging to keep its contents a secret. However, please note Expressions Jewelry might be mentioned on the package. We can also ship your order to your office, a specific FedEx location to be held for pick up, or wherever you indicate. Please let us know what we can do to make sure your Expressions Jewelry order remains a surprise. Contact us for special delivery arrangements, including expedited or Saturday delivery.

Do You Offer Saturday Delivery?

Depending on your shipping address we may be able to accommodate a Saturday delivery, please contact us at 804.520.4434 to schedule Saturday delivery.

Can I Purchase Multiple Items to Determine Which I Like the Best, and Return the Others?

To maintain the high quality of our pieces and keep our prices competitive, Expressions Jewelry does not allow multiple pieces to be purchased for comparison. Comparison purchasing is purchasing multiple products with the intent of keeping one and returning the remainder.
